Treacherous for a propeller-driven outboard, but Yamaha’s Jet Drive outboards are all about it.  You can “off-road” without the possibility of breaking a blade on rocks or other underwater obstructions.  Our 747-cc F40 Jet Drive outboard produces 30 hp at the pump. Its compact, lightweight SOHC three-cylinder, in-line design features a long-track induction system and a single throttle valve. And with electronic multi-point fuel injection, you get lots of responsive power with fuel-sipping efficiency. The motor is setup for a mechanical steering system. To convert from a remote control so you can use a tiller, you can always add a Multifunction Tiller and a Fitting Kit.
